lagomswedish skrev:Gnoff - thanks for this list! There are a few items I can't translate/understand - I've highlighted them on your list.....
En perforerad plåt och distanser att lägga i kylväskan för lakning -
what is this. Is there an example at humle.se?
You need a perforated piece of sheet metal, holes being some 3-5 mm. It's so that the grains can create a filter bed. No need if you go with beer kits or malt extracts, only for brewing with grains.
The distances are used so that the sheet metal comes of from the bottom of the cooler, creating a space of perhaps 2 cm where liquid can gather.
Some people grab two plastic fermenters, drill a few hundred holes in one, attach a bottom plug to the other, puts the drille done in the plug one, viola.
Not sure if I make any sense
En kopparspiral kopplad till lite slangar för kylning -
Can this be bought at humle.se?
Under "Utrustning" and "Vörtkylning" you can see the "8305 Therminator plattvärmeväxlare" which works the same way.
I purchased copper pipes at Clas Ohlson, I think they were called "mjukglödgade bromsrör" and were something like 2-3 meters. Can't find it at
http://www.clasohlson.se/Search/Product ... arr%u00f6r
though
Hävert för att kunna avskilja ölen från jästen samt använda vid butljering -
what's this?
At humle.se "Utrustning" and then "slang o dyl" you can find a "hävert". It's a plastic hose with a plastic cap on the end, which allows you to suck up the beer but leave particles and yeast behind.
Humlekokpåse som jag använder för att avskilja humlen inför kylning -
finally what's this?
It's sort of a filter where you can place your hops and boil them like a tea bag. Helps so that you can just pick the bag out and don't go through the mess of separating the hops from the boil.
Gives you less percentage of hops oil in the boil though, "utbyte" whatever that is in English
I just use it together with a colander when bringing my beer after the boil into the cooling, to separate the hops.
